Intro to GameMaker and GML
A downloadable game
These were some of the early projects I created years ago when I first took the dive into game dev and coding. Using online courses, youtube tutorials, and discussion forums I was able to put together some very basic game mechanics.

* Player Character and Controller. Input management.
* Camera control and functions.
* Boss encounter and a variety of Enemies with basic AI.
* Hazards, attacks, projectiles. Practice with Hitboxes and Hit Detection.
* Damage and Health systems.
* Powerups and Collectables.
* Basic Experience/Leveling system.
* Basic UI, Score, etc.
* Start and Pause menus.
* Simple Pixel Art and Animation practice.
* Music and Sound Effects.
* Progression with win and lose conditions. Clear start and end.
